Shmoodle provides cutting edge delivery software for the lowest cost possible, creating instant delivery capabilities for retailers large and small.

Goal

To democratize state of the art delivery options, so any retailer can enter in the instant delivery market in their specific locale

Vision
  • Any retailer should be able to provide instant home delivery of virtually any good using modern software infrastructure
  • Couriers could directly work for merchants rather than delivery conglomerates.
  • In the near future, customers will expect retailers to have instant delivery options at a reasonable cost
Growth
  • Current stage
    • Developing software
    • Seeking funding
  • Next stage
    • Roll out all four apps and website in 2023
    • Focus on one urban and one rural area to start
    • Expand to nearby areas
  • Final stage
    • Platform is accepted as a viable marketplace for the sale of any good
    • Expansion across the entire USA
    • Expansion Internationally

Redefining Instant Delivery

The Traditional Courier Mega-Fleet Model

Pros
  • It works best with food markets and some small item deliveries
  • First instant delivery model to feasibly work at all
Cons
  • Couriers only talk to corporate
  • Couriers don’t necessarily care about the Merchants or the food, as Merchants have no authority over them
  • High 20-30% Merchant commissions that can’t be lowered (Ex: ~20% goes to paying the courier mega-fleet, ~10% is pocketed)
  • Whenever the delivery corporation needs to enter a new locality, they have to establish a physical presence there (offices, personnel, etc…)

Shmoodle’s New Decentralized Model

Pros
  • Couriers work for Merchants, not Shmoodle, meaning couriers have ease of communication with employer/contractor
  • Couriers can negotiate which Merchants hire/contract them (and vice versa), as well as for how much
  • Merchant commission for tools & platform usage is only 6% for delivery (2% for pickup, 1% for over-the-counter), and setting up an account is free
  • Free market as opposed to centralized instant delivery infrastructure (maximum economic optimization)
  • Can scale anywhere, urban or rural
  • Shmoodle is exclusively software, which can be booted up worldwide while requiring only software maintenance to run
  • Sustains courier collectives as well as pre-existing 3rd party delivery options

Cons
  • Merchants must independently find couriers, either by hiring/contracting their own couriers themselves (through our platform or externally), partnering with other local Merchants, Courier Collectives, 3rd party delivery services on our platform, or delivering for themselves
  • Delivery Model is yet to be pioneered
